I wish you could have met your great-grandson -- we named him after the best grandpa a kid could ever have. I hope he grows up to be as kind, thoughtful, and loving as you were with me. Thank you for all of the wonderful memories. I love you always.

To the best, most loving Grandpa, who was always drawing eyes on the plastic bananas in Grandma's fruit basket to make them look like dolphins, and always cooked stacks of yummy pancakes for breakfast. You were one of the few bright spots in my childhood and I still miss you so much.
